Tracy Hetzel is a Baltimore based artist known for her quirky watercolor illustrations. She has recently started transitioning into Abstract Art. Her Resin pieces are an exploration in color and how it relates to itself and the viewer.
Tracy has always painted and loved to draw since she was a little kid. She now achieves personal expression while simultaneously creating something that brings people joy, even if it’s for a split second. Calling attention to subjects and moments that often go unnoticed, alter your way of thinking and tug at emotions. This consciousness begs to be created. Tracy also suffers from MS and an exacerbation back in early 2000’s made her lose feeling in her right arm, the arm she paints with, she had to retrain herself on how to paint without the feeling of holding a brush. This also led her to experiment more with abstract art.

Subjects and moments that often go unnoticed but still altered your way of thinking and tug at emotions. “You were once wild here. Don’t let them tame you.”
